Your Inner Powers (A simple story to make you understand that anyone can do wonders) PART 4

CHAPTER 4                                                     The truth Everyone started cheering for her. They started clapping. They asked her many questions. Then she demanded everyone to stop. She said, “I know everyone thinks I have some sort of magic powers. But let me tell you something, it is not magic. I was a shy girl. I did not have even a bit of courage. But today, a voice inside me said that even though I was shy, there was something I could use to defeat the bully. MY INNER-POWERS. When you believe in yourself, you can do wonders. That’s how I was able to defeat the bully”. Everyone applauded once again. She felt happy. Suddenly a hand touched her. When she turned back, she saw Joanne. Joanne said that she wanted to thank her. She said that she couldn’t take the bus as she felt a bit uneasy in her stomach and hence walked to the school. But when she did the big bully started torturing her until Mia came. Mia said, “Well, th

Something that forced her to feel angry at the bully. Something that she had never felt before. “Think about Joanne. Think of what she is feeling. Don’t you have to rescue her? After all, you’re her best friend. You have to help her. YOU HAVE THE POWERS IN YOU. Just believe in yourself”, it faded into her mind. She felt as if something was coursing through her body. She felt something she had never felt before. It was courage, anger, and bravery. Much to everyone’s surprise, she ran towards the bully and kicked him hard. He fell backward releasing Joanne. “Run Joanne!” Mia screamed. She grabbed Joanne’s hand and tried to push through the crowd. “Hmph, you think you are the hero? Well, guess what? YOU’RE WRONG!” the bully said as he pulled Mia back, pinning her to the ground. “YOU ARE JUST A WEAKLING, YOU HAVE NOTHING, INFACT YOU DON’T

Mia and Lia climbed out of the bus first and walked to their school. They still had 20 minutes left for school to start. So, they walked around the school’s fountain laughing and chatting. “Have you heard about Mr. Roy’s strange incident?” asked Lia. “No, but I do know the fact that its Mr. Roy’s birthday today”, replied, Mia. “Hey, look there Lia. What a huge crowd!” Indeed, there was a huge crowd in the corner of the school’s playground which was located near to the fountain. It seemed like an argument or more like a conflict. There was anger bursting out through every corner of the crowd. When the two friends walked towards the crowd, they could hear a lot of screaming and shouting. That’s when the saw a shocking sight. A big, fat bully was torturing their friend Joanne. He was slapping her and screaming at her. But w

CHAPTER 1                                        Life as a Middle-Schooler "Mom! Where's my breakfast?" screamed a young middle schooler. "Coming darling" replied Mom. Mia was like the other girls with blonde, silky hair but the only component missing in her was courage. She was a rather shy girl. And life as a middle schooler wasn't fun at all. She had to be early to class; do a lot of essays; make sure she was neat and tidy and so on. And if she didn't follow the things instructed to her properly she would have to face Mr. Ryan, the school principal. "Here's your breakfast," said mom as she brought a plate of baked potatoes and a smoothie. After eating her meal she quickly ran to her room, dressed up (though her hair was a bit messy), grabbed her bag, and was off to school. She always thought that the bus rides to school were exciting. Joanne and Lia, her best friends would never let Mia bring out a frow
