Sometimes I Wonder...

WHAT A MOUSE!   (A POEM ON GERONIMO STILTON) He’s a fraidy mouse, Who lives in a mouse hole as his house. He wears a green coat, But has not even made a single quote. A Virus So Deadly The air smells clean No pollution to be seen. Everyone staying home No where to roam. A virus that stopped us From taking the bus Instead staying home Online on chrome. We wash our hands With soap of different brands. A virus so deadly but helps in keeping us clean! The holes in ozone layer One of our greatest fears, Has now got a chance To heal with care. I was shocked at the sight of this land like I had a guess of how magical lands would look like but seriously I never even dreamt of seeing a sight like this! This land had the basics of a magical land (or even a normal land) like it had grass and pathways but the shocking thing was the sky. It had something like floating stars (it still morning there!) in a weird pattern across the sky instead of streetlamps … like what I mean is like during some festivals you know we tie up streamers across the walls and have those tiny LED bulbs on them. Now if you just imagine the sight but without those streamers, just those bulbs floating like stars... That too in the morning! In total, it just looks very weird! For the kitten it was normal.. (well, isn’t that obvious?) Then it directed me to a place called “Garden Honey.” It was a normal garden, but covered with 10-meter tall flowers and honey everywhere! A path undiscovered I (Lily) was shocked! A mere kitten that could not talk but write? That was cursed by a witch? I felt as if I was dreaming. I blinked my eyes, again and again, thinking that it was a dream. "Okay," I stammered. The kitten gave a long meow. But where was Giant Strongest castle? Does the kitten know where the castle is? "Mmm..do you know where the castle is?" I asked doubtfully. It took the paper back and wrote that it knew where it was and would take me when my parents got out of the house. I told the kitten that my parents doesn't always go out by themselves. Then me and the kitten sat there and thought for a long time until my mom called me to help her with some cupcakes she was making. She asked me whether I could help her with the dishes. Whilst I was helping with the dishes, she told me that she and dad had to go out on Thursday, that's the day after tomorrow, and would return at 10:30 pm, for they were invited to an adults only part...

A Visit To The Vet He told me to sit down on the brown chair in front of his desk. I sat down with the cat in my hands. He said, "I see you got a kitten with a bleeding paw. By the way, what's your name?" "Lily." He took the cat from my hands and examined its bleeding paw. He removed the cloth I had tied there and gently put his hand on its paw. He put the kitten down and walked towards a small cupboard full of healing medicines. He picked a cream named 'Gelly' and put some on the kitten's paw. Then he said, "I have put this  cream for the time being, but it has a tiny fracture for you will need a splint to cure it, unfortunately, the stock of splint's are currently over and we will be receiving a new stock next week." "Oh... now, what shall I do? So I will have to come next week.",  I replied sadly. But the doctor told me that he will give me a cream that can at least prevent any damage to the rest of the paw. A Stray Kitten I woke with a yawn, rubbing my eyes. It was a wonderful Friday morning when I got up. I got out of my bed and walked towards the mirror to see a 10-year-old girl with a pile of messed up hair, wearing white and blue striped pajamas staring back at me. Well, that's me alright. I went into the bathroom and washed my face and brushed my teeth. I then ran down to the kitchen for breakfast. "Lily, can you get me an egg out of the fridge?", asked my mom while she fried the bacon. So I grabbed an egg and gave it to my mom. After a while, breakfast was ready. I sat down and had a hearty meal consisting of fried bacon and eggs. Then I told my mom that I was going to Cathy's house(my friend ) and mom agreed as long as I long I came back for lunch.
